James was awarded a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Charles Darwin University and was admitted to practice as a lawyer in 2025. James is also a nationally accredited mediator.

Before completing his LLB, James was a licenced electrician working in SME across mining, manufacturing, and Government Services.

James has always had a broad interest in the law and appreciates the fact that Cranston McEachern Lawyers is a full-service law firm. James is interested in commercial, business and property law, coupled with a strong interest in family and personal law.

James and his family love the Bundaberg region and particularly enjoy spending time in and around the ocean.
